• Hugo - OpenEyeTap

The Power Source

The Raspberry Pi Zero W is compatible with a Micro USB B male cable. You will need to plug your EyeTap continuously to a USB power source for it to function. There is no battery currently mounted on the EyeTap, which is one of its limitations. You will need to have a portable battery with you to operate the EyeTap when you are not around a readily available charger. Power usage is dependent the EyeTap's functionalities. With the Poweradd F1 Pilot, we get 4-5 hours of battery life.
